Mental Health Nurse at Beckman House

This part-time role requires 20 hours per week, delivering quality care in a structured environment. As an RPN/RN, you will take the lead in guiding care activities and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Collaboration with the Mental Health Team is key in implementing and monitoring care plans tailored to each member’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments for individual health concerns

• Implement and monitor recovery plans alongside care teams

• Provide direct care and education to members/residents

• Observe and report on physical and psychiatric care

• Maintain detailed health records according to policy

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RPN/RN) with BHSc (PN) or BSN preferred

• 3-5 years' experience in community psychiatric care

• Capability to work independently and exert initiative

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed

• Mandatory CPR, First Aid certification and TB clearance
