Fraser Health is seeking a dedicated Perinatal Registered Nurse with one year of clinical perinatal experience and a current BCCNM registration.
Your role will involve comprehensive assessments, care planning collaboration, and proactive education for mothers. Advocacy and coordinated care will enhance the healing experience for both patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments for mothers and unborn babies
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary care teams
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to patient needs
• Educate mothers on health practices and parenting
• Document assessments and care interventions accurately
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Minimum one year of perinatal nursing experience
• Basic Rescuer (Level
C) and NRP Certificates
• Strong communication skills
• Physical ability to perform nursing tasks
