Position: Fraser Health Registered Psychiatric Nurse

In this position, you will deliver inclusive treatment and manage care for individuals living with mental illness and concurrent disorders. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team, you'll perform assessments, medication administration, and facilitate client engagement. Your commitment to culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches will empower clients in their health journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients and develop personalized nursing care plans

• Implement therapeutic interventions and medication management

• Educate clients and families about mental health treatment

• Engage in multidisciplinary case conferences for coordinated care

• Document care plans and outcomes in compliance with standards

Requirements:

• Approved education in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing

• At least two years of experience in mental health care

• Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives

• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and mental health legislation

• Access to a vehicle and a valid BC Driver's License
