Registered Nurse Position

Position: Fraser Health Registered Nurse Position
Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, providing recovery-oriented care and support. Work collaboratively within an interprofessional team to enhance client outcomes in British Columbia.

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive nursing services as part of a team that addresses mental health and substance use needs. Your expertise in assessments, crisis intervention, and education will impact clients and caregivers significantly. This position requires a commitment to compassionate care within geriatric and youth populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for referred clients

• Provide education on mental health and substance use issues

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor effects

• Facilitate connections to community services for clients

• Document assessments and interventions according to standards

Requirements:

• Current RN/RPN registration with BCCNM

• Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience

• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License

• Strong knowledge of mental health treatment practices

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
