Intravenous Therapy Registered Nurse

As part of the dedicated team at Ridge Meadows Hospital, you will assess and provide nursing care focused on intravenous therapy. You’ll utilize your clinical skills in patient assessment, IV initiation, and medication administration while ensuring effective collaboration within the interprofessional care team. Your contribution helps improve patient outcomes and enhances community health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and document nursing diagnoses

• Perform IV therapy and monitor patient statuses

• Collaborate with families to develop care plans

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks appropriately

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program

• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum one year of relevant IV experience

• Valid BC Driver's Licence and personal vehicle

• Clinical proficiency in IV initiation and catheter management
