Key Responsibilities:

• Create and assess tailored care plans for clients with diabetes

• Facilitate patient education through individual and group sessions

• Document patient progress and nursing interventions accurately

• Contribute to clinical policy development and program evaluations

• Lead orientation and mentorship for new nursing staff

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Minimum two years’ clinical experience with diabetes

• Certification as a Diabetes Educator preferred

• Current registration with the BCCNM

• Effective teaching and communication abilities
