This role involves coordinating new and existing research projects across multiple execution stages. You will maintain research databases and GIS mapping systems while developing impactful research extension materials. Additionally, you will collaborate with provincial organizations to enhance outreach and facilitate on-site training and supervision of students and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee research project logistics and safety plans
• Maintain databases and archival resources
• Develop research extension materials and technical reports
• Collaborate with local extension organizations
• Supervise student employees and interns
Requirements:
• University degree in a relevant discipline
• Two years of related experience or equivalent
• Class 4 driver’s licence
• Commitment to enhancing diversity and inclusion
• Awareness of different perspectives
Drive innovative research and education initiatives at UBC as an integral part of its Forestry team.
