Security Guard - Mobile Patrol

Commissionaires BC is currently recruiting for a Mobile Security Guard to join our team.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 15:30 – 20:30

Payrate: $25.80/hour

• Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols.
• Check tickets.
• Assist Station Attendants when needed.
• Perform vehicle patrols at specified stations; shift begins at Pitt Meadows.
• Unlock/lock gates and inspect surrounding areas.
• Respond to alarms.
• Record all incidents in the occurrence log/incident form.
• Contact and liaise with police personnel if necessary.
• Closely observe parking lots, stations, and platforms to eliminate risks and report any occurrences immediately.
• Provide superior customer service to clients and the public.
• Maintain high safety standards while performing duties.
• Assist with scheduling and payroll duties as needed.

• Reside in Canada for the last five years and have not been out of the country for more than six months at a time.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public.
• Hold a valid BC Security License and Occupational First Aid Level 1, or be willing to obtain one.
• Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license.
• Have a clean driver’s abstract.
• Fluent English written and verbal skills.
• Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail for job duties and incident report writing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations.
