Casual Residence Worker

Join Connective as a Casual Enhanced Supervision Residence Worker in Maple Ridge, BC. This role focuses on improving residents' lives, providing emotional support, and maintaining safety in a home-like setting.

As a member of Connective, a recognized non-profit, you'll support residents in achieving their goals within their care plans. Your responsibilities include fostering therapeutic relationships, intervening in crises, and acting as a positive role model. Flexibility is vital, as you will be required to work various shifts, including evenings and overnights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement care plans with program management

• Ensure residents understand and follow facility rules

• Build interpersonal relationships with psychiatric patients

• Utilize best practices in crisis intervention

• Offer emotional support and guidance to residents

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services preferred; training provided

• Experience working with vulnerable populations

• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively

• Valid class 5 driver’s license

• Successful Vulnerable Persons Criminal Records Check
