Position: Youth Support Worker at Leo Street
Become a key caregiver for youth at Leo Street Youth & Family Services as a Residential Youth Support Worker. This role prioritizes safe environments, emotional support, and skill-building activities.

As a Residential Youth Support Worker, you will engage with children and youth, focusing on their unique needs through trauma-informed care. Your expertise in behavioral modification and crisis intervention will be essential in building trust and fostering relationships. This position demands a Class 5 Driver’s License, enthusiasm for assisting youth, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and well-being of youth in care

• Provide emotional support and guidance to clients

• Document and report daily activities and progress

• Facilitate youth's connection with community services

• Implement strategies from Youth’s service plans

Requirements:

• 2-year diploma in related field or relevant experience

• Training in behavioral modification and crisis intervention

• Class 5 Driver's License

• First Aid certification

• Familiarity with trauma-informed practices
