Integrated Mental Health Worker

Position: Integrated Mental Health Worker - Connective
Join Connective as a Casual Integrated Mental Health Worker dedicated to supporting individuals facing mental health and substance challenges. This role focuses on casework and community support using a trauma-informed, harm reduction approach.

In this vital position, you will provide casework and in-unit support for individuals with severe mental illnesses.

Your role will enhance their quality of life while aiding community reintegration. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and agencies, you will support clinical stabilization and uphold individual rights under the Mental Health Act.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop care plans with program managers and staff

• Supervise activities and maintain case notes

• Support recovery through resource allocation

• Manage behaviors via one-on-one and group counseling

• Liaise effectively with community and professionals

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in relevant fields, two years' experience

• Clear Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Persons

• First Aid Certificate and valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Expertise in crisis response and de-escalation strategies

• Food Safe Certification
