Assertive Community Treatment Peer Support

Enhance lives as a relief part-time Peer Support Worker in our Assertive Community Treatment Program. Located in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, this role taps into your experience with mental health challenges to assist clients.

In this impactful position, you will provide essential support in skill development and help clients navigate community resources. Collaborating closely with the ACT team, your insights will empower individuals towards self-management and independence. This position blends compassion and skills to promote client recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish supportive client relationships

• Assist with essential life skills such as hygiene and meal planning

• Integrate clients into community services and activities

• Support documentation and program development

• Engage in team discussions and quality initiatives

Requirements:

• Lived experience with mental challenges

• Certification in peer support training program

• At least one year of related work experience

• Current Class Five BC Driver’s License

• Strong communication skills to engage clients
