Position: Maple Ridge Youth Clinical Counsellor Role
Join the Pitt Meadows School District as an Integrated Child & Youth Clinical Counsellor in Maple Ridge. This position emphasizes counselling and management to support students facing mental health challenges.

Providing an integrated approach to youth counselling, you will support children and families while supervising Youth Peer Support Workers. Your duties will include monitoring cases and facilitating workshops for families. This collaborative role not only addresses individual needs but also builds preventative measures within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct therapeutic counselling for youth and families

• Recruit and guide Youth Peer Support workers

• Liaise with school staff and community agencies

• Facilitate training and workshops for stakeholders

• Manage and develop employee conduct and performance

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field

• Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC) status

• 3-5 years’ experience in clinical counselling

• Proven crisis intervention skills

• Strong background in mental health and community collaboration
