Youth Care Worker Position

Make a difference as a Regular Full-Time Youth Care Worker with PLEA Community Services in Maple Ridge. Support youth challenged by behavioral issues in a caring community setting.

As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide essential care to ensure youth thrive in their daily routines.

Your role includes building effective relationships and communicating with Family Caregivers and community partners. The position follows a Thursday to Monday evening schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor youth behavior and ensure a safe environment

• Implement daily routines and fun activities

• Provide life skills training, including personal care

• Engage in service plan evaluations and youth assessments

• Coordinate youth appointments and outings

Requirements:

• Diploma in human/social services or related field

• Six months of experience in similar roles

• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills

• Valid Class 5 or 7N B.C. Driver's License required

• Willingness to pass a Tuberculosis Screening Test
