Position: Youth Care Worker with PLEA Services
Support youth in Maple Ridge, BC, as a Regular Full-Time Youth Care Worker with PLEA Community Services. This vital role centers on meeting emotional and behavioral needs in a therapeutic environment.

As a Youth Care Worker, you will engage with youth facing behavioral challenges, promoting positive routines and life skills. Your responsibilities include ensuring safety, providing guidance, and communicating effectively with families and staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure youth in residential homes

• Promote communication and collaboration among stakeholders

• Teach adaptive behaviors and coping strategies

• Provide life skills training and organize activities

• Record and assess youth progress in service plans

Requirements:

• Diploma in related field or equivalent experience

• At least six months of relevant experience

• Valid Basic First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

• Class 5 or 7N B.C. Driver's License needed

• Criminal Record Check is mandatory
