Regular Part-Time Support Worker

Become an integral part of PLEA Community Services as a Regular Part-Time Community Support Worker in Maple Ridge, BC. This role focuses on supporting individuals with tailored assistance and flexible timing.

As a Community Support Worker with PLEA, you'll be responsible for participating in client assessments and supporting their daily needs. A diploma in human/social services and relevant experience are required. You will work within a flexible schedule of 16 hours per week, allowing you to meet client needs effectively while using your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate client requirements and develop customized support plans

• Teach daily living skills and promote independence

• Assist in emergency situations to ensure client safety

• Document daily activities and participant progress

• Liaise with community services and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

• Diploma in a related human/service field

• One year of experience in community support

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid Basic First Aid certification preferred

• Comprehensive criminal background check clearance
