Outpatient Physical Therapy is seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team as a Patient Services Representative.
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. While previous experience in a similar role is not required, we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, proactive, and has a forward‑thinking approach. A general familiarity with the healthcare field is beneficial, but we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a warm and welcoming environment by greeting and supporting on‑site patients.
- Manage a multi‑line phone system, directing calls appropriately and ensuring clear communication.
- Input, update, and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to efficiently manage patient scheduling and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Process medical record requests in a timely and confidential manner.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, secure authorizations, and address coverage inquiries.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support the front office and clinic operations.
We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. You should be able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and think proactively to solve problems. While experience in healthcare administration or medical reception is a plus, it's not required—we provide all the training you need! Familiarity with medical terminology, EMR systems, and insurance processes can be helpful, but most importantly, we want a positive team player who's eager to learn and grow.
