About the Opportunity
The position is responsible for performing vehicle preventative maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, including diagnosing and identifying repairs or malfunctions, performing repairs efficiently and accurately, inspecting engines and automotive systems, using diagnostic devices, inspecting computer and electronic systems, performing routine maintenance, adjusting or replacing parts, documenting all work, and conducting road tests as required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and identify vehicle repair and/or malfunction

Perform vehicle repair or maintenance efficiently and accurately, based on company and manufacturer guidelines and standards

Inspect vehicle engine in operation, road‑test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults

Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade

Perform routine maintenance to ensure functionality and longevity of the vehicle

Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drivetrain, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized equipment

Document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed on the repair order

Road‑test vehicles as required

About You

2 to 5 years proven reconditioning experience as an Automotive Service Technician

Post‑secondary school diploma, or equivalent experience

310S Mechanic License in good standing

Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles

Driver’s License and clean driver abstract

Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines

Professional verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic mindset

Ability to maintain professionalism

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Self‑motivated and driven with passion for excellence in execution

Desire to work in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment

Proven commitment to quality of work
