Training Specialist Leaf Foods

Support production excellence with Maple Leaf Foods as a Training Specialist. Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Standard Work program for operational efficiency.

In this role reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, you'll collaborate across plant functions to assess training needs and develop tailored learning objectives. Your expertise will help in creating Standard Work Instructions and the operator training assessment process. Additionally, you will manage training metrics and engage with plant leaders and subject-matter experts to enhance training effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps

• Lead creation of Standard Work Instructions and approval processes

• Collaborate with leaders to implement operator training processes

• Train team members on knowledge training materials

• Update and track training metrics for progress visibility

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in plant operations or training roles

• Preferred CTDP certification or related degree

• Proficient in MS Office tools

• Experience with Alchemy learning tools is an asset

• Knowledge of learning theory and program management
