Energy Conservation Specialist Leaf Foods

Become an Energy Conservation Specialist with Maple Leaf Foods and lead initiatives focused on maximizing energy efficiency. This role is crucial to our sustainability strategy.

You will report directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager and work hand-in-hand with Efficiency Manitoba. Your main tasks include developing and managing energy efficiency projects, overseeing utilities metering systems, and conducting energy audits that lead to actionable insights. You'll also prepare reports for management tracking KPIs and support applications for energy-saving incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage execution of energy efficiency projects

• Implement and monitor metering systems for accurate data

• Conduct regular energy audits to ensure optimization

• Prepare reports on energy consumption trends and savings

• Facilitate internal communication on energy initiatives

Requirements:

• Engineer with at least 3 years in energy management

• CET or equivalent with significant industry experience

• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation

• Proven project management experience in energy systems

• Strong presentation and communication capabilities
