Personal Support Worker View Lodge

Enhance quality care as a Personal Support Worker at Maple View Lodge in Athens, Ontario. This permanent part-time role supports residents with various conditions in a compassionate environment.

Maple View Lodge is seeking multiple Personal Support Workers for its expanding facility. In this position, you will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver direct care and tailored intervention for residents experiencing dementia, mental health issues, or other cognitive challenges. Collaboration and effective communication with team members are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in achieving optimum well-being

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members

• Follow and report on resident care plans

• Implement non-pharmacological care approaches

• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in daily tasks

Requirements:

• PSW Certificate from an Accredited Ontario College

• Two years of experience in Long-Term Care settings

• Gentle Persuasion Approach training is an asset

• Basic computer skills for documentation

• Commitment to quality care and improvement
