Pursue a career as an Instrumentation Technologist with Maple Leaf Foods at the Heritage site. Your key duties will involve calibrating and servicing critical manufacturing instrumentation.

With over 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in Lean environments, you will enhance operational performance through proactive maintenance and system improvements. You’ll need proficiency in PLC programming, expertise in Allen-Bradley logic, and a commitment to food safety and quality assurance.

Your role will include both troubleshooting systems and training plant electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation

• Develop testing and maintenance procedures for equipment

• Provide support for equipment modifications and installations

• Maintain component documentation and spare parts lists

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a related manufacturing role

• Proficient with PLCs, especially Allen-Bradley

• Strong troubleshooting skills and logical thinking

• Experienced in Lean manufacturing principles

• Commitment to continuous improvement in safety and quality
