Welder Fitter Lodge Farms

Join Maple Lodge Farms as a Welder/Fitter, where your expertise will keep our plant running smoothly. This role requires mechanical aptitude, welding expertise, and a commitment to quality in a dynamic environment.

As a Welder/Fitter, you will fabricate, install, and repair equipment essential for our poultry processing operations. Your skills will be crucial in emergency repairs and ensuring safety and efficiency. This shift position runs from 6am to 4pm, rotating every four weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and fabricate production support equipment

• Install and repair ammonia and steam piping systems

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Operate trade-specific machinery safely and efficiently

• Complete emergency repairs and collaborate with maintenance

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and welding processes knowledge

• Experience with Metal Shear, Press Brake, and more

• Valid CWB and TSSA welding tickets

• Certification in Forklift and Working at Heights

• Knowledge of food plant regulatory standards
