In this full-time contract role, you will focus on outreach, supporting youth aged 6 to 29 in priority neighborhoods. By leveraging your skills in youth engagement and case management, you’ll develop tailored support systems and advocate for better opportunities, empowering youth to navigate their futures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reach out to youth in priority neighborhoods
• Identify barriers faced by underserved youth
• Provide one-on-one support and comprehensive referrals
• Build collaborations with schools and community organizations
• Lead workshops and engage in community outreach
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Services or relevant experience
• 1-2 years of youth engagement experience
• Certification in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check
• Knowledge of community resources and youth issues
