Maple Leaf Foods seeks a dedicated Health and Safety Specialist to implement and maintain Occupational Health & Safety programs at the Heritage Plant. You will interact directly with operations to ensure safety compliance and assist in the development of policies and training initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Safe Work Procedures for operations

• Enforce Golden Rules through team collaboration

• Maintain OHS metrics and management documentation

• Design training programs to enhance safety protocols

• Conduct behavioral observations and audits for risk assessment

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in Health and Safety roles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with regulatory bodies is an asset

• Knowledge in WSIB claims management preferred
