Quality Assurance Lead Lodge Farms

Maple Lodge Farms seeks a Quality Assurance Lead to ensure compliance and maintain food safety standards in Ontario. Lead quality operations on the second shift while supporting the QA team.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position involves overseeing daily quality assurance functions, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions. You will work closely with team members to ensure all products meet Maple Lodge specifications and regulatory requirements. This is a key role in fostering a culture of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify product compliance with customer and company specifications

• Ensure corrective actions are implemented on production deviations

• Monitor adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices

• Conduct checks on raw materials and processes

• Document and report on quality assurance activities

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of QA experience in the food sector

• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP principles

• Familiarity with OHSA and WHMIS regulations

• Strong technical orientation with multitasking ability

• Relevant post-secondary diploma
