The Assistant Property Manager is a leader, community builder and ambassador of the Tricon brand. They partner closely with the Property Manager to ensure the community thrives, residents feel at home and the team feels supported. Through people-first leadership, attention to detail and operational excellence, the Assistant Property Manager helps shape a community that residents love and employees are proud to serve.
This role blends leadership, service and operations, ensuring every detail - from suite readiness to financial performance - is executed with care and precision. The Assistant Property Manager also mentors and supports concierge staff and other team members, fostering a collaborative environment built on respect, accountability and shared success. This role supports Canary Landing, a growing, master-planned rental community comprising Maple House, Birch House and Cherry House in Toronto’s Canary District - steps from the Distillery District and close to Corktown Common, the Don River and downtown core.

Experience:
Serve as a trusted point of contact for residents, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, empathy and a sense of community. - Foster Community Connections:
Support and participate in resident events and initiatives that encourage engagement, inclusivity and belonging. - Lead with Care:
Provide guidance and support to the concierge team and other staff, ensuring they feel empowered, valued and aligned with service excellence standards. - Ensure Move-In Excellence:
Oversee suite readiness and seamless move-in and move-out experiences that set the tone for resident satisfaction. - Maintain Rent-Ready Standards:
Conduct regular property inspections to uphold the quality, safety and appeal of suites, amenity spaces and common areas. - Provide Timely Service:
Liaise with residents, vendors and contractors to resolve maintenance requests promptly while maintaining clear, resident-focused communication. - Support Financial Health:
Assist with rent collection, notices and account management with professionalism and empathy, ensuring transparency for residents. - Prioritize Safety and Comfort:
Oversee security and janitorial contractors to maintain a safe, welcoming and well-kept environment. - Collaborate on Operations:
Partner with the Property Manager and broader team on daily property operations, vendor coordination and budget management. - Uphold Standards of Service:
Consistently demonstrate leadership, cultural awareness and attention to detail that reflect our people-first values.
