The University of Minnesota Department of Neurology and the University of Minnesota Physicians seek a Vascular Neurologist to join our dynamic, rapidly growing cerebrovascular team. This position will join an energetic, highly collaborative team of academic stroke physicians, fellows, research fellows, residents, APPs, and coordinators to provide the highest standard of care across our health system which includes a comprehensive stroke center, thrombectomy‑capable stroke center, primary stroke center, and six acute stroke‑ready hospitals.

We also have a core commitment to clinical research, including our role as an NIH Stroke Net Regional Coordinating Center.
In recognition of the intensity of 24‑7 state‑of‑the‑art cerebrovascular care, our stroke program primarily utilizes twelve‑hour day and night shifts with minimal long call (>12 hours consecutive coverage). This schedule embodies our continued dedication to a balanced, positive work environment that supports the dual pursuit of excellence in one's academic medical career and non‑clinical interests.
