Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This is a casual position that will work as needed.
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).
Responsibilities- Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Performs individualized, compassionate patient care
- Performs high quality examinations
- Identifies relevant data from images accurately
- Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.
- icates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
- Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
- 1 year or more years of experience in a related role
- Previous ambulatory care experience
- Additional certifications in Imaging
- ARRT CT certification or successful completion within 1-1/2 Yrs
- Strong interpersonal skills
