Lead AI Platform Engineer (Dev Ops, MLOps)

Location: Maplewood, MN (Onsite);
Travel: up to 10% domestic/international;

Lead AI Platform Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI/ML architecture and MLOps pipelines across cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of LLMs and other AI solutions.

• Design and implement AI/ML architecture, ensuring optimal orchestration, deployment, and performance of models.
• Deploy scalable, full-stack applications and agentic AI solutions integrated within enterprise systems.
• Design and implement efficient MLOps pipelines for quantitative ML models and LLMs, ensuring robust deployment, observability, and maintenance.
• Establish best practices for AI orchestration, application development, and MLOps to promote reliability and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership, support cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous innovation.
• Design, implement, and optimize Dev Ops pipelines for efficient deployment and monitoring of AI models.
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable solutions for the GenAI platform.
• Integrate and coordinate AI services and components using APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Establish end‑to‑end framework for model observability, infrastructure performance monitoring, and Fin Ops.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks for MLOps and automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 4+ years platform engineering/Dev Ops experience in private, public, government or military environment.
• 2+ years experience in MLOps, automation or Dev Ops using Docker, Git Hub Actions, Kubernetes, Airflow, MLflow or other open‑source tools.
• 2+ years experience in Infrastructure as Code tools (Bicep, Cloud Formation, Terraform, etc.).

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud platform.
• Experience with API operations, RESTful APIs, message brokers, event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with NLP & AI frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
