Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional for the position of Tax Preparer. The role involves preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in current tax law, possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and be capable of working independently with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. A strong technological aptitude and experience with online tax software, specifically Pro Series Tax Software, are essential.

Enrolled Agents with Active Unrestricted Credentials Required.

This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 5 days per week, 40 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Federal and State income tax returns of medium to advanced complexity for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Analyze IRS and State notices and draft responses.
• Contribute to the client service team by producing quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service.

Requirements:

• 0 to 1 years of experience in tax preparation.
• Adept in current tax law.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong time and project management aptitude.
• Proficiency with Pro Series Tax Software or similar tax solution.
• Working knowledge of Excel required.
• Working knowledge of Quick Books a Plus.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be willing to provide 1 checkable work references and 2 personal references.

Job Type: Full-time during tax season with the potential of permanent full-time/part-time position after tax season. Extended hours during tax season may be available.

Job Types: Full-time,

Pay: $50,000 -$60,000 a year. (Potential for equity in company.)
