We’re hiring a seasoned and ambitious Senior Account Manager (NJ) to take our growth in the Garden State to the next level.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing dispensary partnerships and growing revenue in one of the most exciting, new cannabis markets in the US, and will play a key role in shaping the future of the company on the east coast.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth — Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Prospect and acquire new accounts — Identify and engage potential dispensary partners to expand brand presence and sales.
  • Expand our distribution footprint — Increase doors, SKUs, and geographic coverage through proactive account management and strategic selling.
  • Build and deepen account relationships — Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  • Negotiate promotions & discounts — Lead pricing, and promotional negotiations with accounts to maximize profitability and increase units, while maintaining brand integrity and gross margin.
  • Analyze market trends — Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective trade marketing — Collaborate with marketing teams to execute in-store promotions, product launches, and merchandising initiatives.
  • Represent the brand — Serve as a public face of the company at dispensary pop-ups, industry events, product demonstrations, and trade shows.
  • Educate the industry — Host dispensary product training with recurring training sessions with dispensary customers to maintain a high level of product knowledge with staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressively senior experience in sales, account management, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or sufficient related experience.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry and/or consumer packaged goods (including alcohol sales) strongly preferred.
  • Experience using data and data platforms to make sales plans and decisions.
  • A burning drive to win customers & sales and increase market share.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver exceptional results on a strict deadline.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Travel required (50%+); good driving record, valid driver’s license, and insurance coverage required.
  • Experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to pass a fingerprint clearance and background check, as required by state law.

Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. Compensation is comprised of base salary plus commissions and quarterly performance bonuses for an all-in compensation of between $120,000 to $140,000. Benefits include flexible paid time off, paid parental leave, 10 paid holidays (including 4/20), health, dental, vision, 401k, flexible spending accounts, company paid life insurance, and company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.
