The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Post‑acute Wound Healing Specialist, you will act as a consultative wound care expert and primary contact for post‑acute and transition‑of‑care decision makers. You will educate clinicians, drive adoption of Solventum solutions, expand therapy utilization, and ensure proper documentation for therapy authorization.
Responsibilities- Consult with clinicians on safe and effective use of Solventum products.
- Provide outpatient bedside support for product placement and dressing changes.
- Deliver sustainable business growth through sales targets via account and territory management.
- Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities.
- Educate clinicians on safe use of Solventum products, including in‑service sessions.
- Partner with prescribers to initiate therapy orders and secure billing documentation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
- Use clinical and economic evidence to advocate for and grow therapy adoption, including advanced solutions and new product introductions.
- Persuade stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products.
- Provide customer support and service.
- Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of the sales training program.
- Leverage company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking.
- Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for company business and participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program. Candidates must successfully complete a pre‑hire motor vehicle record review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign‑off.
Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Degree:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 2 years sales and/or clinical experience. - Alternately, High School Diploma/GED AND 4 years sales and/or clinical experience.
In addition, the following are required:
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include:
- Proven track record of sales quota and target attainment.
- Prior wound care, medical device, or DME sales/clinical experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (e.g. surgeons).
- Proven experience in territory management and business planning.
- Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas.
- Understanding of the U.S. health insurance and reimbursement landscape.
- Customer‑focused selling and closing.
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using a CRM (e.g. Salesforce).
- Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process.
- Outstanding data and analytical skills.
In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third‑party facilities. Those facilities may require you to possess licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials (“prerequisites to entry”). Solventum may share your information with the providers of these screens as required.

TravelField‑based role with up to 20% overnight travel anticipated (may vary by territory).
