Overview:We are looking for an accomplished Supply Chain and Subcontracts Manager to oversee sourcing, subcontract oversight, and supplier partnerships within a secure, compliance-driven environment. This role requires a results-oriented professional with a strong background in federal contracting, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management systems.
The selected individual will guide a team responsible for procurement execution, subcontract performance, and vendor compliance, ensuring alignment with U.S. Government acquisition regulations and company policies.
Key Functions:Direct all phases of the subcontract and procurement lifecycle — from supplier identification and solicitation through negotiations, contract award, and final closeout.
Support proposal development by managing supplier RFQs/RFPs, analyzing bids, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Government procurement standards.
Work closely with program management, contracts, finance, and compliance teams to maintain alignment between supplier agreements and prime contract terms.
Draft, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor agreements and flow-down clauses to manage cost, schedule, and performance risks.
Maintain subcontract and procurement data using Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP tools.
Ensure adherence to all applicable FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR regulations as well as internal corporate governance.
Conduct price and cost analyses for supplier proposals and contract modifications.
Participate in audit preparations and government reviews (CPSR, DCAA, DCMA) as required.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
2–5 years of leadership experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain functions
5–7 years of hands-on experience in subcontract administration within a government contracting environment
Strong command of FAR/DFARS and U.S. Government acquisition procedures
Familiarity with MRP systems and supply chain optimization practices
Demonstrated experience supporting federal proposals and cost estimations
Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint
Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
Preferred Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Prior experience supporting classified programs within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
Working knowledge of CPSR compliance and audit readiness
