Posting Period: Friday, December 12th – Until Filled
Salary: $125,000 – $147,000 DOE

We are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, where employees are empowered to grow, collaborate, and contribute to meaningful work. Just as we strive to provide 5‑star customer service to our members, we also hold ourselves to the highest standards in how we work and support one another.

What You Will Do

The Outside Plant Manager (OSP) oversees planning, construction, and maintenance of the Cooperative’s fiber‑optic outside plant network (aerial, underground, and buried). This role manages end‑to‑end project delivery—from design and permitting through build, acceptance, and operations—ensuring network reliability, safety, and scalability to support current and future service demands. The position provides technical leadership and oversight for all outside plant construction, ensures continuous improvement of standardized processes, coordinates construction activities, maintains relationships with local jurisdictions, utilities, and regulatory bodies, and manages construction contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of OSP construction, installation, and maintenance of fiber and copper network facilities across poles, aerial, buried, and underground infrastructures.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. An equivalent combination of experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Engineering, Construction, or Operations within the telecommunications industry.
  • Prior supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to lead technicians and contractors in a telecom construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA rules, National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and Federal, State (DOT/DOH), and local regulations.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.
  • Previous experience in a Cooperative is preferred.
