As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated FCAW Structural Steel Welder to join our team.

Full-time

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, day shift. Occasional overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Basic Job Responsibilities

• Interpret shop drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process and procedures.
• Perform AWS D1.1 FCAW welding techniques on structural steel components using FCAW-G with precision and accuracy.
• Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.

• Adhere to and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a 3G, 4G plate certification test in accordance with ASME and AWS D1.1 Codes.
• Experience with standard shop equipment including overhead cranes.

• Be a forward-thinking individual and a self-starter.
• Ability to work well with others and take instruction from supervisors.
• Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing.
