Built on a foundation of Respect, Safety, Quality, and Results, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Material Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and issuing stock inventory, coordinating with maintenance teams to forecast material needs, ensuring accurate records through data entry, and maintaining accountability for tools and consumables. You’ll also support inventory reduction initiatives and help keep our operations running smoothly.

As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts—including standard day shifts, 2nd shift, weekend shifts, and 12‑hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible and willing to be assigned to any shift based on operational needs.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Issues and controls stock inventory and evaluates stock for surplus.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance Department to forecast material requirements.
  • Checks stock availability on all maintenance material requests.
  • Orders stock and restocks shelves.
  • Monitors shelf life of applicable stock.
  • Maintains, monitors, and restocks bench stock.
  • Stocks and issues consumables.
  • Maintains, issues, and repairs small tools.
  • Processes turn‑ins from Maintenance Department.
  • Performs data entry of issues and turn‑ins.
  • Maintains accountability on permanently issued tools.
  • Conducts periodic and annual inventories.
  • Serves as a member of the inventory reduction team.
  • Answers phones, orders tools, and maintains first aid and safety supplies.
  • Conducts safety program, assists with hazardous materials, and ensures safe work practices.
  • Documents training and keeps compliance records up to date.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying technical data relevant to the position.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with or without supervision.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • One year of inventory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level.
  • Occasional crawling, kneeling, or balancing.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand movements; good manual dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
Working Conditions
  • The work location includes the stores, tool room, shipping and receiving, aircraft maintenance hangar, and designated outdoor areas.
  • Equipment operated includes telephones, computers, printers, copiers, pallet jacks, banding machines, foam machines, scales, forklifts, and motorized vehicles.
  • Protective equipment required includes protective footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves when necessary.
  • Potential hazards include high noise levels, residual odors, extreme temperatures, exposure to materials listed on Material Safety Data Sheets, and working around moving machinery.
Other Duties
  • May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
