Base salary ranges from $62,700 to $104,100, commensurate with experience.

Teachers who start in August earn a total of 10 days of paid leave during the year.

Eligibility:
Florida certification in Art (Grades K-12) is required. Florida temporary educator certificate reciprocity is available for holders of an unexpired out-of-state professional educator certificate in this subject area.

• Art Major:
  Commonly accepted bachelor’s (or higher) majors for a Florida temporary educator certificate include:
  Art, Art Education, Fine Arts, Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Commercial Art, One Area of Art (Painting, Sculpture, etc.).
• Other Majors:
  For other degree majors, passing the FTCE Subject Area Exam in Art K–12 is required. Visit the testing website  for further details.
