Dockhand​/Fuel Attendant

Dockhand / Fuel Attendant – EOS Hospitality – Marathon, FL.

Support large boats during docking, fueling, and general marina operations while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

• Assist large boats docking and undocking (in unfavorable wind and current situations).
• Secure water and electrical supply to boats as required; check dock lines and utility supplies during changing weather conditions.
• Fuel boats within safety requirements and assist with taking on off supplies, water, battery charging, etc. (knowledge of proper fuel, oils, etc., essential) – must write up retail transactions.
• Maintain marina docks, equipment, and grounds to an aesthetically pleasing standard.
• Assist with general marina maintenance and repairs (alertness for safety‑related repairs or needs is essential).
• Assist as assigned in hurricane or storm preparation.
• Apply radio, hurricane, storm, fire, first aid, freeze, and oil‑spill procedures.
• Assist with retail inventories as needed.
• Know live‑bait keeping procedures and laws.
• Support tournament activities.
• Apply knowledge of marina dockage rates, regulations, and enforcement procedures.
• Represent the marina professionally to boaters and the public.
• Contact supervisor or office when supplies are running low.
• Clean and maintain fuel pier store, supplies, and equipment.
• Continuously wash down the fuel pier to prevent fuel build‑up and trash.

• High‑school diploma or GED.
• Prior marina/dockhand experience (a plus).
• Customer service, boating, fuel‑handling experience (a plus).

• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Full‑time (available for part‑time candidates).
