The Activities Supervisor oversees the daily operation of all resort recreational and leisure activities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences that align with luxury hospitality standards. This role combines hands-on leadership, guest engagement, staff supervision, and program coordination to deliver memorable, safe, and high-quality activities for guests of all ages.

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Program Delivery
  • Supervise and coordinate daily recreational activities, including poolside programs, outdoor adventures, children’s activities, and special events
  • Ensure all activities reflect the Hawks Cay Resort brand standards and exceed guest expectations
  • Actively engage with guests to promote activities, handle inquiries, and personalize experiences
  • Address guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate activities staff
  • Lead by example with a service-focused, energetic, and professional approach
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure staff are knowledgeable about schedules, safety procedures, and guest service standards
Operations & Safety
  • Ensure all recreational areas, equipment, and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained
  • Enforce safety guidelines, resort policies, and local regulations at all times
  • Monitor activity participation levels and adjust programming as needed
  • Complete incident reports and respond to emergencies following resort protocols
Planning & Coordination
  • Assist in planning seasonal programs, special events, and themed activities
  • Coordinate with other departments (Spa, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, & Admin) to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Manage activity schedules, signage, and promotional materials
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in recreation, activities, hospitality, or guest services (resort or hotel preferred)
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong guest service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, first aid, and CPR (certification preferred or required)
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with a professional appearance and demeanor
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move recreational equipment as needed
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
