, knowing that during your tenure, you’re a trusted partner in their pet’s healthcare.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing for Florida prior to start
• Active DEA license or DEA-eligible
• Ability to commit to seasonal temporary veterinarian (November–April)
• Must be proficient in medicine and general surgery
• A strong communicator who loves building relationships with clients
• A good human who is kind, and plays well with others
• A dedicated veterinarian who takes pride in their work
• An ethical person who possesses strong emotional intelligence skills
• Willing to learn and strive for the betterment of the team
• Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes some nights, weekends, and holidays

Marathon Veterinary Hospital, part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare  network, is the largest veterinary hospital in the Florida Keys located at 5001 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL 33050.

We provide a comprehensive range of services, including primary care, exotic medicine, internal medicine, urgent surgery, dentistry, integrative therapies (such as acupuncture), and wildlife support.

We are open Monday to Saturday
: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
