Position: Full-Time Veterinary Technician

Marblehead Animal Hospital
, a well-established, privately owned companion animal practice in the heart of downtown Marblehead, is seeking an experienced Full‑Time Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. Celebrating 43 years of compassionate care, we pride ourselves on our collaborative, supportive environment and commitment to exceptional veterinary medicine.

Our hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including onsite diagnostic ultrasound, laboratory and X‑ray procedures, dental care and treatment, feline boarding, and both medical and surgical care for dogs and cats. We are conveniently located within walking distance of local shops and restaurants, making us a vibrant part of the community.

As a Veterinary Technician at Marblehead Animal Hospital, you will:

  • Work closely with veterinarians and fellow team members to deliver high‑quality patient care
  • Perform and assist with surgical and anesthesia monitoring, radiology, phlebotomy, intubation, and animal restraint
  • Provide outstanding customer service and client communication
  • Mentor, guide, and learn from colleagues in a collaborative, all‑hands‑on‑deck environment
  • Support all aspects of hospital operations as needed

What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a veterinary technician
  • Strong technical skills in surgical/anesthesia monitoring, radiology, phlebotomy, intubation, and restraint
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team setting
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
