Seasonal Pool Director

The Corinthian Yacht Club is a private, member-owned club situated on scenic Marblehead Harbor. We are currently seeking an experienced Pool Director to join our team for the  summer season (May-September).

Our vibrant pool community is eager to welcome a knowledgeable, dedicated, and engaging leader. You'll be working with a long-tenured aquatics team in a fun, collaborative environment that values both professionalism and camaraderie.

The Pool Director will be on deck six days per week, responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for members, and supporting a well-functioning, enthusiastic staff.

Key Dates:

• Start date:
  
  May 5, 2025 (to prepare for Opening Day)
• Opening Day:
  May 24, 2025
• Closing Day:
  September 7, 2025
• The pool operates 7 days a week during the season

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the daily operation and maintenance of the outdoor Swimming Pool Complex.
• Manage and support staff in the daily operations, cleaning, and maintenance responsibilities.
• Manage the educational, recreational, and competitive swim programs, with support from the Swim Coach.
• Organize Swim lessons to be taught by tenured Lifeguards.
• Plan and execute social events
  - Splash Parties, Annual Water Show, and Family Nights.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree ideal, but not required.
• Competitive swimming background, helpful but not required.
• Current certifications in CPR/AED, First Aid and Lifeguarding required.
• CPO certification required.

Schedule and Pay

• Weekend, evening and holiday shifts are required.
• Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
