Job Description & How to Apply Below
Cambridgeshire | Salary dependent on experience

Could you be the person who keeps a busy agricultural business moving – and grows with it?

Redfox is working with an established, independent agricultural business that supplies crop nutrition solutions to farmers and growers across the UK. We’re looking for a capable Business Administrator to work closely with the owner and take on much of the day-to-day administration that currently sits with them.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the business. You’ll bring order to a busy workload, make sure important tasks are followed through and help colleagues, customers and suppliers get the information they need. As you learn how the business works, there will be scope to take on wider operational and commercial responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing

* Taking ownership of day-to-day administration and helping the owner manage priorities.

* Handling enquiries, correspondence, records and documents accurately and promptly.

* Coordinating information between customers, suppliers and colleagues.

* Keeping orders, schedules and other business processes organised.

* Spotting practical ways to help the office run more smoothly.

* Building your knowledge of the business, its products and its customers.

What we’re looking for

You might be an experienced administrator, office coordinator or business support professional who is ready for a role with more variety and responsibility.

Agricultural experience would be welcome, but it isn’t essential. What matters most is that you’re organised, dependable, confident with people and willing to learn. You’ll be comfortable working in a close-knit business where priorities can change and everyone gets involved.

Why consider it?

You’ll work directly with the owner, have the chance to make an immediate difference and gain a broad understanding of an established agricultural business.

For the right person, there is potential to grow into a wider business role over time. The starting point, though, is clear: the business needs someone who enjoys administration and takes pride in getting it right.
