Postdoctoral Scholar in Cardiovascular Physiology
Position is in the Alexander Lab, Noll Laboratory, Department of Kinesiology. The scholar will work on a multi‑site NIH‑funded series of studies investigating mechanisms associated with accelerated cardiovascular disease risk in women with endometriosis.
Responsibilities- Recruit and screen prospective human subjects.
- Perform laboratory‑based experiments involving minimally invasive cardiovascular approaches.
- Conduct bench work including peripheral blood mononuclear cell isolation, multiplex and hormone assays.
- Manage, analyze, and interpret data.
- Prepare and publish manuscripts.
- Assist graduate and undergraduate students in research training.
- Present findings at conferences.
- Ph.D. in cardiovascular physiology, exercise physiology, or a closely related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to conceptualize and design experiments independently and collaboratively.
