Marina Ship Store Attendant

Job Summary: The Ship Store Attendant will handle the interior of the ship store, including but not limited to
cash handling, cash register work, answering the telephone, stocking the shelves and cleaning. They will also assist customers on the marina dock.

• Provide the highest level of customer and guest services
• Coordinate with the Manina Manager to ensure proper inventory levels of ship store products.
• Operates a cash register and credit card machine to ring up purchases, ability to make change, etc.
• Receive inventory and mark or tag price on merchandise
• Stock shelves, counters and display tables with merchandise
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and sanitation policies
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets
• Reliable with good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.

• Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluation situations and making decisions.
• Work tasks may be performed both indoors and outdoors.
• Enjoys working with the public to provide exceptional customer service
• Adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment
• Must have command of the English language, written and verbal.

• Able to stand for extended periods of time (90 percent of shift).
• Able to lift 35 pounds
• Frequent walking, reaching, bending, turning, and stooping
• Normal vision and hearing ranges required.

• Work tasks may be performed both indoors and outdoors.
