Are you an organised and compassionate administrator who can demonstrate empathy, discretion, and professionalism in sensitive situations? We’re looking for a Patient Administration Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to our client’s multidisciplinary clinical teams across inpatient and community services.
About the Role- Act as a key point of contact for patients, carers, volunteers, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information across multiple systems.
- Support patient pathways and ensure administration processes are completed efficiently.
- Organise meetings, prepare minutes, and coordinate actions.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and general office administration.
- Support inpatient wards with telephone enquiries, transport arrangements, and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate sensitive post‑death administration processes with compassion and professionalism.
- Process referrals, book appointments, and support community patient services.
- Have strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Demonstrate empathy, discretion, and compassion when supporting patients and families.
- Be confident using IT systems and databases.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to manage competing priorities and work accurately under pressure.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and providing excellent customer service.
- Make a genuine difference to patients and their families.
- Work within a supportive and dedicated healthcare team.
