Administrator

Location: Margate, Kent

Contract: Temporary - 4 weeks initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Make a difference where it matters most

We are looking for a warm, organised and confident Administrator to join our clients team in Margate on a temporary 4-week contract, initially.

This is a ward-based administration role
, working closely with patients, families and the clinical team. You'll play an important part in keeping the ward organised and ensuring patients and their families receive a friendly, supportive experience.

Your role

Every day will be varied, with responsibilities including:

  • Providing general administrative support to the ward and clinical team
  • Being a friendly and approachable point of contact for patients and families
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing documentation
  • Supporting clinicians with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Managing correspondence and general paperwork
  • Assisting with appointments and other ward administration
  • Ensuring information is recorded accurately and confidentially
  • Working as part of a supportive and caring team

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and genuinely enjoys helping people
.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confidence using IT and standard office systems
  • A calm and professional approach
  • The ability to work sensitively with patients, families and healthcare professionals
  • A positive, flexible and helpful attitude

Healthcare or hospice experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. What matters most is that you are approachable, compassionate and comfortable working in a busy, people-focused environment.
