Position: Resident Liaison Officer (Project Delivery)

Do you have experience in engagement work and a strong interest in supporting residents and communities?

Do you thrive in project environments where communication, trust and collaboration are key to success?

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to join our Housing and Corporate Programmes team in this important new role.

As Resident Liaison Officer (Project Delivery), you will play a central role in supporting the delivery of the Council’s housing, estate improvement and regeneration programmes. You will lead on resident liaison and engagement activity across the lifecycle of projects, ensuring residents are informed, involved, and able to influence decisions in a clear, structured and meaningful way.

Working as part of multi-disciplinary project teams, you will act as a key link between residents, council officers, and external partners. You will build strong relationships with communities, establish and support resident groups and forums, and ensure that resident insight is captured and reflected in project development and decision-making.

This role sits at the heart of housing delivery and community engagement, requiring you to manage sensitive conversations, support effective communication, and help balance resident priorities with project requirements. You will work closely with colleagues across Housing, Communications, and Customer Services to ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to engagement.

We are seeking someone with strong communication and facilitation skills, experience of working with diverse stakeholders, and the ability to manage complex or sensitive engagement processes. You will be confident working across multiple projects, maintaining clear records and supporting good governance and transparency throughout.

If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, building trusted relationships, and making a tangible difference to communities through high-quality housing and regeneration projects, we would love to hear from you.

This role requires flexibility and may involve occasional evening and weekend meetings.
