Position: Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner-£1000 Welcome Perk

Qualified Nursery Practitioner

We’re looking for a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join The Avenues Montessori Nursery. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to create brighter futures for children.

Qualifications: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Salary and

Hours:

£26,624 per annum. Working hours are Monday to Friday.

Location: The Avenues Montessori Nursery, 406 Northdown Road, Margate, Kent, CT9 3PG.

What Your Role Involves:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s developmental milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
